This is my new hack. And i'm actually determened! I've already spent a good 10 hours on it! But I've made so many changes and touch-ups, i'm not even done with the first level! Im putting alot of work into this, but don't expect this to override Golden Yoshi's hack, even though he's helped me ALOT wih this. Pics! You'll never guess why this level is named Dizzy Castle... That looks good! That castle seems bright tho And when you touch the fuzzies, wont the ground mess up and cause glitches? I thought they could only be used with that grass set. The third shot looks cool. This is quite interesting Nice font too! (edited by Keikonium on 11-27-04 08:38 PM) |

Well, Not really, you see, Yoshi may sink into the bricks a little, but he never actually gets stuck you keep walking and you come back up over them,so there isent any glitches with that yet. If i can change the brightness, which i believe i actually found a sprite that does for some odd reason, than i will use it, but i would rather do it some other way. Anyone know a way to fix the lighting? | |||

I believe that the lighting is part of the Fuzzies' effect. There's a sprites used in 1-7 to cancel Fuzzies dizziness. I believe it's 1F2... I've done tests with Fuzzies and it turns out the land morphs physically, but not always visually. The result is enemies and stuff bobbing up and down. It's really hilarious to see Yoshi dizzy with an item in his mouth. |

Wow, I am very impressed. This means I am a great teacher! I'm stunned that you knew how to set up those platforms on the castle wall, since you must set up those objects as negative to go in the opposite direction. Great job! By the way, to get the correct dizzy effect, change the layer/ordering property to 3. | |||

Thanks GoYo for that info!(Edit)Yah GoYo I knew there had to be a way of making the wall platforms work backwards, so i gave turning them around a shot and it worked! lol(UnEdit) After about a half-hour of Hexing, I have gotten about 1/3 way through the story, and I want to share the first few screens so far. Hmmm... uhhh... 2nd screen: You need to set the special effects correctly (possible layer 3, too, but I am not sure). Look at 1-6's special effects and set it to that and see if it works. .bmps are evil. Please try to make it .gif or .png, if possible. As for the text edits... they are simple, yes... but I would recommend not using the symbols. It kind of makes it look weird... As for the 3rd screenshot... uhhh... ground-pound and get the mole... now if you made the sand blocks above the bubble those blocks that change colors when you hit them with an egg, then it wouldn't be so easy to avoid the Shy-Guys... but that is my opinion... |

Heh, you are sadly mistaken, im still working on that part. Unfortunatly you dont use the mole to get up into that hole, but you can which is annoying me. You actually use a really REALLY good Egg Shot. Yah. [Edit] GAHHH! BMP! Thank you ONCE AGAIN Golden Yoshi for title screen help. [Edit2] GAHHHHHHHHH! ANOTHER BMP ON THE LOOSE! Not much, but its something. And I had to use Yoshi symbol or else the text wouldent have fitted.
