Anyone seen the ads for this? Apparently it uses these screw-like wheels to go through sand, snow, etc... I think it can float too. The question is does it work on pavement? Because if so, this sort of thing could be pretty nice to have on a real car.

Er. On a real car? Doesn't it have giant drills for wheels? At least that's what it appeared to me. Either way, it'd shred the pavement. If it worked, it'd most certainly be illegal.

It might shred it, that's a good point... Depends how heavy the car is and how strong the pavement.

But heck, come the apocalypse, when we rebuild we can just put those on all the cars and not pave the roads.

Yeah, then water will leak in and potholes will develop. Drills for wheels won't help if there's a huge hole in the road.
