Yea, it's Thanksgiving for me, but I just wonder if you guys have something that you're thankful for. Just wondering what in terms of yourself, not to put anyone on the spot or anything.

What? Need me to go first...uhmmmm...

Guess I'm thankful for the few people I surround myself with and what they how the help me and vice versa. Thankful for what I've been able to do with my life thus far and what I keep hoping I can get out of life. Thankful for ah quite a few things actually but I probably took the good two.

So lemme hear yours.

Well, even though Thanksgiving for us was back in October, I guess I can post what I'm thankful for:

:: The house I live in, my family that I live with
:: People that I think of as a friend, and people that feel the same way about me
:: Extremely thankful that I was able to help Kari some (check my thread in the Officer's Club if you don't know what I'm talking about)
:: Having the internet again

I could go on, but most of the other things are material objects. I could say I'm thankful for my Gamecube and this computer, and although I just did, it still sounds slightly stupid (Yay for the letter 'S')

Not having Thanksgiving Dinner today (I didn't wake up until 1 PM)
My stepdad offering to buy my Gamecube from me (Odd situation, he's in Afghanistan, and I wanted to get rid of it anyway.)
The fact that presidents can only have two terms in office
My random depression becoming less frequent (unfortunately, it's worse when it does come)
My mother finally realizing that yelling at me does not get a good response.

Hey, would you be willing to do your chores if you had people yelling at you about them? Now what if they asked nicely? Thought so.

Well, we don't celebrate thanksgiving here, but I guess I'm thankful for the cash I have on my bank account, if anything. ($$)

The rest I just take for granted, because I'm spoiled, selfish, and greedy.

Hmmm....this thread again.

I think last year I had a nice drawn out post on my part.

I doubt that would be the case this year since I am not in the mood to write that much today.

Bottom line, I'm thankful for those who can actually put up with me. You know who you are,

Explains why there was a turkey in Animal crossing who was afraid for the harvest festivals today.

Well, we aren't celebrating Thanksgiving here. Which is as good as I really don't like Turkey.

I'm thankful for being alone on Thanksgiving? No, wait...

Oh well, at least I get to have the quintessential college Thanksgiving dinner:

I don't like turkey either and I really don't believe in the holiday, in the sense that you should always be thankful. We don't need some Hallmark holiday and sales galor to tell us that.

Turkey is okay. I like it on sandwiches, but dont eat it otherwise except for this day. Better than ham.

Replace that with real Budweiser and you'd bring tears to my eyes. It would be... so beautiful.

In any case, though I'm not really that religious anymore I thank God for letting me be as fortunate as I am, in spite of the things I don't have or haven't achieved yet. I'm also really thankful for my family, as they do care about me a lot.

Lets see.. hopefully I wont be asked this question at dinner.

Im thankful for:
- My awesome friends, on and offline.
- My mommy.
- My home. Its not just a house.
- My teddy bear.
- My lovely computer.
- Uma Thurman, Naomi Watts, Jen Garner, Renee O'conner, Lucy Lawless, and Leick. Oh how I love them.
- The pile of food sitting on the table right now, cause its time to eat. Yay. Im actually thankful for my thanksgiving dinner, imagine that.

I dunno, Thanksgiving always seemed like a really stupid holiday. Let's celebrate the day the native americans traded away their rights due to their ignorance of the concept of ownership. Woo.

Anyway, I'm thankful for... Videogames.

I know. Lame. But it's true

Replace that with Alexander Keith's or some sort of real brew, and I would gladly walk bare footed to America hug NSNick, take his picture and make him an honorary Canadian.

Woohoo, go Emptyeye! It's good to see you're well.

As for me, I'm thankful that I haven't been committed yet, that I have a family of people I love, and that I haven't ruined anyone's life beyond repair.

Quorn Turkey tastes extremely accurate. But it still makes my mouth kinda dry.

If it was Guinness Draught, would that satisfy everyone, because I'll probably pick some up tomorrow.
