Ummm... remove The Joe Adventure. I... uhh... well... lost it... stupid computer... stupid spyware... stupid formatting... it deleted everything in my folder with a gig of stuff without warning... I saved some stuff, but not all of it... and The Joe Adventure was one of the unsavable...

First off, put in SMW Odyssey. Second, if anyone wants to, put in my hack Yoshi's New Isle up for most promising hack for 2005. That is if people think it deserves it of course...

I nominate the FF2 hack by Lenophis for most promising hacks of 2005. I also nominate my FF1 hack for most challenging hack....Final Fantasy x2.

I nominate Sivak Drac's Lolo 1 hack, Challenging Lolo. It's an awsome hack that'll keep you busy for hours. & it's a complete hack.

Take a look at it here.

Where is Anikiti's SMW hack? That's got to win an award for "most challenging", though I'd give Odyssey the nod for overall quality.

Come to think of it. Rob Omb's Quest should also be nominated. After all those years it finally got completed.

Then that is why you should nominate it.

I updated the list with about 5 more games...and yours and Thadd's too Gavin.

I suggest you change "editors" to "hacking utilities" so I can nominate FCEUXD as a hacking utility.

If not, then I nominate it as an editor, because technically it will be able to edit roms with the built in hex editor.

It will be released on Dec 25th, and I honestly don't think voting should start untill after that, because how can anyone vote on somethign that isn't out yet?

I am of the opinion that voting should not start before Jan 1st. I figure if it is an award for 2004, it ought to cover the entire calendar year.

I know it really doesnt cover most of the year, but in the past 3 times I've done this, I've always done it early. Don't know why really. I suppose I should back that bump that date up.

bbitmaster: Suggestion taken.

and just for reference, i'm only a minor player in the hack. It's really been 99% Sliver-X's and Thaddeus' work

And yet they claim you can make the hack 100x better. Talk about having it easy j/k

Anyway, if voting doesn't start before Jan 1st, then I may be able to whip up something after all, depending on how quickly I can work...

I agree as well that voting shouldn't start untill january 1st, 2005.

CF, I understand that you might be reluctant to break from tradition if this is how its been for the last several years, but I ask that you seriously consider it. Something really nice could get released on Dec 31st.
