Don't do that, you'll break it! Everyone knows you can't put metal in the microwave! Duh!

And freezers take too long. Maybe a device that sprays liquid nitrogen on said object, then somehow removes it could work, though.

...Actually, that's a pretty damn good idea.

The outlets in the US are generally one way. You have to plug it in a certain way in most cases.

I thought of this long ago. I called it the "freezowave." I built it and it works, but I lost the blueprints or whatever. Bad luck for you. I am very happy with my freezowave.

I've never known microwave energy to freeze something. I don't think it's possible, although I can see what Itachi is trying to get at. Many years ago I tried several experiments to freeze fire. Nope, didn't work out to well. I learned about the whole fire-being-energy thing soon after.

Has it occurred to anybody that such a device would have to be scraped free of ice after *every* use? Otherwise, the ice will get thicker, harder to remove, and the effectiveness of the device will fall through the floor.

Still would be spiffy to see...otherwise I have to rely on m' older brother's insults to freeze everything for two miles around....
