| The microchips are almost upon us. At least in the mainstream. Chances are, it's been around for years. And I can't believe this one slipped under my radar. The news story is a month old now. Anyway, you can be damn sure I'm not getting one of these put in my arm. I would give the same advice to each and every one of you as well. Some more information. Yea I remember hearing about it. The bad thing about those chips, is that who knows what can be in them. I mean, the people who made them, they could be hiding other stuff that the chip does. They could have tracking devises, and such. Which would bea good idea in the case if some murdered someone or w/e, then they could find that person. I think that they should only allow people who go to jail to have those chips. Hell, I dont want no chip thingy up in my skin. I don't want to be in the bathroom takin a shit and my arm starts beepin. Then a police helicopter flies to my house to remind me theres no more toilet paper...a guy gotta have his privacy damnit!!!!! Damn I am so bored. | Majin_Hacker, that is EXACTLY why I refuse to get one of these. You can be almost certain that the chips will have a lot more capabilities encoded into them then what we're being told. | Well, I highly doubt they're going to force you to do that here in the states or in Canada. We have certain privacy laws that would forbid it. However, they could always work around it practically forcing you to get one. For instance, let's say that this chip does indeed have malicious abilities unknown to us and they made it so that you couldn't recieve medical attention without one. People would almost be forced to get them. Not me though, I'll wing it.  So yeah, they might use surreptitious means to do it but they're not going to flat out force you to get one. At least I hope not. |
