The home opener? Nice. My prediction is 38,000 announced, 10,000 actual. |

So...a few days later and the Sox won for the first time in 5, and the Yanks were surging again. Not to mention I'm not doing half bad in my fantasy league. |

I dunno....after they unloaded everybody they don't really have a purpose. Maybe they can drop down to AAA |

I feel bad for them, actually. That has to be the worst feeling ever...to walk onto the field, and be able to hear individuals. Then again, they get paid mucho dinero |

Hey! Some Cubs fans on this board! Big win today against the rival Astros. Didn't think JoBo could close it out the way he's been going, but he managed. Now if Cincinnati could just start losing... |

I still like my Expos. Even when they're getting neglected, I still like them. But tonight... OH MY LORD. If any of you see the highlights, you CANNOT tell me the Twins deserved to win right there. That ball wasn't an inch or two foul - try a few FEET at the least. I have never seen such a miscall in all my life... If it was an inch or two, fine, but COME ON. Great argument by old Frank there (including the CHOKE~! sign) and I'm sure we're going to ask for a review of it... but like they said on the local news, we're the Expos. Baseball doesn't give a rat's ass about a miscall like that. |

speaking of the expos, tampa bay is starting to look like expos of last year... it seems teams aren't taking them for a guarantee win against them anymore...

Yeah, but let's hope they don't follow the same attendance trend. The Expos drew less than 4000 for a game a couple of days ago...

i think yesterday their Triple A affliate drew more than the expos as for tampa bay, their avg. attendance this year is more than last year by about 3,000 people, while montreal has dropped about 3,000 people. (Source) |

What? Prior is only going to be out until May? What? The Sox don't even have a shot? What? The Cubs have been struggling? On the menu for tonight: Crow. Eat it bitches. |

Anya: My apologies. You just traded for Billy Koch. ;P Although since you do have a relatively stable closer in Benitez (when'd you ever think you'd see THAT sentence?) so I'm sure he ain't in any danger.

OUCH. XD Wonder when the Expos are going to do our usual mid-season trade to better the squad... If we can, of course. |

Meh, Benitez is fine now...but what if they make it to the playoffs? I'm willing to bet that he'll crack there. |
