| Well, my best friend should be 16 today. But, he's not. He died last year due to cancer. Of all the people in this stupid world, my best friend gets screwed over. 1 in 400,000 get cancer. That just blows my fucking mind. One in four hundred thousand. He had it for a year, fought it, won.They cut off his leg, and got rid of it. And then he got screwed, because cancer is a little bitch, and came back in his spine. You can't take out the spine, so for months he fought. He died after the NBA all star game, because it cut off his ability to breathe. I have to get this off my chest somehow, and this is sort of helping. So, happy birthday man, I'll be seeing you around. |

| Although it may not help you much... MANY more than 1 in 400,000 develop cancer. Maybe 1 in 400,000 die of it, although that number also sounds low. I'm sorry to hear about it. I lost my best friend to cancer too (my dog died at the age of 9). And if you think it's wrong or sad that a dog was my best friend, you need to understand that he was smarter than any of my neighbors... and I didn't have many within walking distance. |
