the treatment for my "full stomach break".
That was sometimes more painful than the break itself.

When I was 6 I slid on sand in the street and gashed my leg. It bled for like 3 hours, and was the worst ever.

8 years later, with countless football and soccer games behind me, that is the worst I've dealt with.

OH, now that I'm thinking, one time, a piece of bark got under my eyelid. It was probably WORSE than the leg thing.

A tiny piece of bark, no bigger than this 0 made my cry...

That happened to me before too, and it would not come out for awhile. I was seven or eight at the time, I think. I was in one of those small pools for kids and it had grass and leaves and junk in it. I went underwater with my eyes open and something went in (not sure what it was. But it had to have been grass or a piece of a leaf or bark or something like that because the pool was full of that kind of stuff). I cried for awhile, until it eventually fell out on it's own.

One time in grade six, someone did this stupid wrestling move on me (can't remember name) and I ended up smashing my head off the tiled floor. I blacked out for awhile and had a huge bump there and such.

I collided with my friend on bikes before. She was going down a hill and I was going up the same hill. She was coming down too fast, I couldn't get out of the way, and she rammed into me. I remember my ribs and chest area hurting for awhile after that and my leg had this long gross looking cut on it. I don't think my friend was hurt too badly

There' the 5 bones I've broken...

The worst was the second time I broke my arm, and the subsequent surgery recovery that followed.I broke my ulna into three large pieces, and my radius into two. That sucked, but I also had to wait for 3 hours without painkillers.

That, and when they flipped me on my side to get my shirt off, I could feel and hear the bones scraping against each other.

All this three days before a national fencing tournament.

I get to go into surgery this summer to get the plates taken. Fun.

When I was 6, I feel off a ledge in a place called Glendalough and, had a ledge not have been there, I'd've fallen and died

Unforunately, said ledge was filled with nettles, stingers and and all manner of sharp things. And I fell in it face first. Ouch. I was wearing shorts and a T Shirt too only.

And the thing is, I revisited Glendalough 6 Months ago with my class, but I did not see the offending ledge.

The very first time I had a cavity, the dentist thought it was shallow enough to drill without Novocaine.

It wasn't.

I can't remember just how awfully it hurt, but I recall that I screamed my head off the entire time (and he never stopped drilling...I was 7...that's a fucking sick thing to do to a little kid). I just had another cavity drilled and I was slightly under-numbed, so I felt the drill a bit near the end of the procedure. It wasn't too bad, but the utter concentration of the slight pain brought back some nasty memories. Thankfully, my dentist isn't a sadistic bastard - if you're feeling any discomfort, you just raise your hand and he'll stop and take care of whatever is bothering you - so when I said that I could feel the drill, he told me it would be just a few more seconds and gave me the option of getting more anesthetic or just hanging on for a little bit longer, so I didn't have any problem dealing with it. Modern dentistry is SUCH an improvement over what it used to be like.

Oh, remembered something else that was painful as hell. That time I got a thorn in the flesh under the nail of my thumb and mom tried to get it out. She first tried to do that with a toothpick, then used some needlish thing with fishhooks. That hurt so bad my stomach turned. Still not as painful as a decent mental blow.

When I was two years old, I slipped on ice and cracked my skull open. I don't remember much after that. I can still feel the line in my forehead.

When I was 10, some idiot in my class sprayed bug spray, at point-blank range, into my eyes. Which is probably why I'm now wearing glasses. I spent an hour with tap water running through my eyes.

A couple years ago, when biking away from the swimming pool, I wiped out on the gravel road nearby, and crashed onto my right side. My right knee and elbow were bleeding pretty bad, so I walked my bike back to the swimming pool, and spend half an hour holding gause to my knee with my right hand, and gause to my elbow with my left. I had a scar for around a year before it cleared up.

Ok, the worst pain ever in my 18 years on this planet is:

Getting a baseball bat to the back while a dog is tearing my right leg up and two other guys are pounding me in the face and stomach with Iron Knuckles (in other words, pieces of iron you wear on your knuckles)
And sitting up in the hospital with tubes and shit down my throat, worst thing was the coma...nobody has ever felt pain like that...It makes me shudder every time I even mention it or anyone else....

Ouch... I've never had a coma...

I did hear of a person who went for surgery, but the anesthetic ended just before it started. The doctors gave her something to keep her from moving so she was forced to sit for hours in pure pain, unable to move or scream as they operated on her.

Well, let me tell you what it felt like for me....It was like being plunged into the Artic Ocean for three days, unable to escape, unable to wake up, but when it was over it felt like being put on the sun, it took time to get used to when I woke up, it was weird as hell...

Got hit by a car when I was walking to school 3 years ago. Broke both my jaws, my chen, my nose, lost my top 5 front teeth, fractured my right shen, and broke my right arm... defently the worst pain ever, plus they wouldn't give me pain killers because of brain damage, and after they did I ended up adicted to it, and I got post tramadic stress disorder so I kind of got a car phobia. Life sure was hell back then. Got $95,000 out of it though so I guess it was worth it

Hm... I'd have to say sensitive teeth. It doesn't seem to be occuring that often for me now, but it sucks when you get a burst of pain no matter what solid you chew. If it's just a LITTLE hard... ow.

I have the same, but it's more of an annoyance to me.
