I've got to questions I need to ask:
1.I've noticed that Demo world or the Unofficial Demo world 3 has background Images from other games is it possible to insert those backgrounds in my game or make up my own backgrounds and put them in my game ? if so, how would I do this ?

2. I'm trying work with the title screen graphics and right now all I've figured out is how to copy and paste in the over world editor how do I actually change the text say like, Super Mario bros 4:the legend lives on.... how would I do this ?

thanks

p.s. my web browser tells me my IP address is banned

For the first question, yes it is possible. Just download Hidden Mario's M16-7K tutorial and, I hope, you'll know what you need.

You would use a tile editor to change what the text says. The title screen graphics are in GFX28, GFX29, GFX2A, and GFX2B.

Ok I'm having a small problem with a tile editor, I'm using tileEd 2002 and YY-CHR I loaded the super mario world rom into both and when I do this everything is screwed up I can't find anything, so I used a SMAS+world rom and it displayed one half of a title screen from SMB3 or SMW is there anyway I can fix this problem ?

also where is hidden mario's tutorial at ? I searched the boards but couldn't find anything

*Super Sigh* (C)
Ever thought of looking HERE? The answers can be found there.
For some reason, I will still answer your question.
The graphics look like crap because you're loading the ROM in the tile editor. The graphics are compressed, making it next to impossible to edit. However, LM have got a decompression/recompression tool. Click on the red mushroom in LM's toolbar. It will decompress the graphics to "graphics/allgfx.bin" or several .bin files in "graphics/". You're supposed to edit those files. When you're done, reinsert them to the rom by clicking on the green mushroom.

Make sure on YY-CHR it is in 4bpp SNES format.
