| ... Am I the only one that thinks that the concept art for Final Fantasy X-2 is a whole lot cooler than the game itself? I bought the game several months ago, but haven't really played it a whole heap. I've only just completed Chapter 1 of the game.. But so far, I can't say I'm enjoying it. In fact, I'm only really playing it out of this sick idea that "I bought it, so I better finish it". Does it get better than this? |

| Battles fun. ...that's it, really. The story's crap and very predictable, and remember how Yuna was a dignified and somewhat memorable character in FFX? Well, she's not anymore. The outfits are cool though. So yeah, you're right. The concept art is better than the game. |

I still thought it was pointless that they called it the "Dress System" instead of just the plain "Job System" ... but dressing does go with the games theme I guess.  I've played some of this game but I honestly didn't like it very much, the battles were so fast and easy it's not that hard, and the storyline does in fact suck. Not too mention I hate the dancing concert crap.  On top of this, I did not find FFX enjoyable at all, so just think of how I looked at this game. So no, quit, and play something more worthwhile.  |

| The thing is, FFX-2 is as good as the oposite of FFX <<; So it doesn't really matter that much how you liked FFX, since it isn't really comparable :-/ |

| Well, I've progressed further, but I still don't get who this game is supposed to be appealing to. On one hand, we have this whole dress-ups thing, which is soooooo Barbie, or maybe Charlie's Angels or something.... On the other hand, outside of the Concept Art ones, which I've gotten used to....most the clothes look REALLY SLUTTY. So far, the White Mage one is the only outfit in which they're not showing off some skin... or having some kind of g-string-over-lycra thing happening. Course, I do have to admit that so far, all three male leaders of the various groups are definitely bishounen.  But seriously, are they marketing this to horny teenagers? With all the scattered arse, I'm really... wondering...As for plot, yeah, it's mediocre, but I keep playing... I think it's cause it still hurts too much to type. |

| I bought it last year, when it first came out here in North America. All the games I have bought, I've finished, except this one. Like you Taryn, I got to the end of chapter one and lost interest very fast. It has been sitting in my game drawer collecting dust since I last dropped it. This game should of spent more time in the development room. |

As long as you view it as a hollywood-isation of the series then it works well. I LOVE the dire-logue  The jokey style. it's the only FF to date I've sold though, and I'ma single perverted young adult who could do with some skin in his life  |

I love this game--so much I not only have the FFX-2 JP, FFX-2 NA, and FFX-2:International, but also the controller guns, the special edition of the strategy guide for NA, and the entire music collection... so yeah, i've spent about $500 for one game  anyways, I'm a sap for chick flicks (which is how this game plays out I have to admit) and the battle system is different for a change. Costumes are nice but I don't take much heed to them. Only gripe I have about this game is Rikku's new look. Yuna's look I can um...tolerate, but Rikku...why did they have to change her that way... If you enjoy the game, then it is all good...then your money wasn't really wasted.... |

| Bought it around this time last year when it was released, probably one of the only things I've bought right off the release date. Lost it sometime this year (thank my sister for putting it in a rental case) and I haven't seen it since. Not sorry I lost it really, yea, way too freaking Charlie's Angels ish for me. This is one of the main reasons I say that sequels to FF blow. They deterioriate the idea of an already either decent or at least tolerable game. |

| I got semi-far into the game, but it isn't very good to say the most. The game was boring except the battles, those were fun... sometimes. The plot stinks the characters were ruined (I hate to admit it, but that was the only thing I liked about FFX) The game sucks and SE needs a lot of help to start making good games again. | |||

| I beat it and go 100% of it done. I got the dress thingys but I still didn't do that underground thing. Takes too damn long..and why should I have if I already got 100%..I didnt do that other sidquest thing with the chocobo's either..but I kinda liked the game. I can't believe I played it more than once just to get 100%..eh..I was bored.. |

| FFX-2 is fun. It's not your run of the mill rpg or comparable to anything else that Square has made but it's still fun. Especially since it's different from what you usually play. I like the battlesystem alot too. The story is far from the best but hey, space invader or tetris didn't exactly have a story either. Me and Sofie are on our 4th round, we got 3 iron dukes so far  |
