I've been playing with ASM for a bit and I'm recording all the outcomes of byte 1. So far I have: 00 = Mario Palette 01 = ??? Gold Yellow thing 02 = Grey Palette 03 = ??? Grey thing 04 = Yellow Sprite Palette 05 = ??? Yellow thing 06 = Blue Sprite Palette I suppose the even numbers are palette changes? Anyways, I'll work more on research type things for SMW hacking. I'm new at this, so don't yell at me too much! |

Graphics byte #1 in HyperHacker's sprite editor. Here's how to use it: Get the sprite palette you want (8-F). Subtract 8 from it (0-8). Multiply it by 2. If you want to make the sprite use sprite page 3 or 4 (instead of 1 or 2), add 1. There you have your byte. (edited by Smallhacker on 10-26-04 10:58 AM) |
