| It does? With live I meant like, if you edit something in the css it applies it instantly. I might aswell install it again. I installed linkification too, it's like the one Legion said but without any box, just like a normal link, thanks FreeDOS. Edit: Great, it edits it instantly Now I might aswell get adblock for those annoying moments at gamespot and gamefaqs ![]() (edited by Jizuko on 10-31-04 10:35 AM) |

D'oh...I forgot to mention that I have Web Developer installed at work. It is indeed awesome and useful. As far as ad blocking is concerned, userContent.css will do that for you, but when I tried it (which was, admittedly, quite a while ago), I found that the commonly used anti-ad defaults catch too much regular content. For example, the New Thread image on this board got hidden because the URL contains the letters "ad". Sure, you can tweak the file to make its pattern matching more conservative, but I find it easier to add filters while browsing, especially because when you go to add one, AdBlock prepopulates the form field with the full URL to the ad, which is easily edited to create a good filter that will probably wipe out all ads from that particular provider. Not only that, AdBlock can get rid of ad iframes, which userContent.css might not be able to handle (though it could...like I said, it's been a while since I last messed with it). |

| I don't have a problem with ad-blocking via userContent.css. This is where I got the code from: http://texturizer.net/firefox/adblock.html | |||

| DOM Inspector Tabbrowser Extensions. Kickass. Allows you to trap popups into tabs, color tabs opened from other tabs similarly (oh, I opened these five from that one page), adjust tab width, even allow for multiline wrapping of the tabs. Adblock. Delicious Delicacies. Mostly nostalgia. Feed Your Reader. |
