| I am going to agree with MajinBlueDragon on this. This forum is completly out of control. One word posts, loads of flames, no screenies, stupid questions. This forum is just... undescribable. I would recommend everyone look at the rom hacking and Super Mario World hacking forums and look at everyone's post there (I would strongly suggest the rom hacking forum, as there are more sophisticated people there). I still can't believe some of you aren't banned because of breaking all of these rules. How are you getting away with this? I have yet to see an admin come into this forum. I have seen a mod or two, but they can't do a thing because it isn't their forum to mod! Dylan's post makes perfect sense. You all think you can do this and that but in reality, you can't! That is why this forum is cluttered with threads stating that you are making a hack and you don't provide screenies. That just ticks me off. How many of you have completed a Pokemon hack and others actually liked it? Hardly anyone. Now before you start going off stating that I don't hack Ruby/Sapphire or any of the Pokemon games (I know I don't hack Ruby/Sapphire), I have played around with the editors and such. It is a powerful editor, but Ruby/Sapphire isn't my kind of game. My kind of games are Pokemon G/S, Yoshi's Island, Super Mario World, and Super Mario Bros. 3. Why? That is me. I like those games. I am not saying R/S are bad, but to me they aren't as good as G/S. You all seem to be hacking R/S all because you like the Pokemon theme. That can be good, but in this case it is bad. You have to hack with whatever tools you have available and you don't even know how to use the tools! How many of you know how to use a hex editor? Not many. Why? YOU DON'T TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT!!! If you don't know how to do something, first read the help file. Then try to figure it out yourself a few times. Then when you still can't figure it out, you go on here and ask. Also, try doing some thread digging. You will find all your answers in old buried threads, thus stopping the clutter here. Sorry for this flame, but I just can't take this forum anymore. Assign another more active mod here to clean up the mess. Kawa is a good mod, but that is just one person. If there were two, this forum would be much easier to manage. |

| Cpubasic I agree 100% 2 mods = better not being modest but me or MBD would be a good choice as we are very good hackers. And can be Mature when need be you should see how strict I am on the Mew3inc forums. And for the hacking part; hack r/s because I like four byte pointers. And I only hack ROMs if I own their cart. I use a hex editor when ever i'm hacking. Why? Because editors make mistakes or I do it; if I can't make an editor for it or if the editor hasn't been made I love going into a hex editor I used to be good at GBC hacking. I promise you will see good screenies of my hack in the next few days MBD just gave my new map a "Bitch'n" | |||

| Since I cnat exactly nominate myself or Matt, as generaly it isn't quite accepted to ask for a mod position...I don't quite see anyone else hwo would fit the job description, however, but that asside I think this forum could use at the very least one other moderator, if not 2...but if the staff thinks thats pushing it, just another, someone who is more active, actualy has an idea of what they are doing, and would be able to clean up alot of this bullshit that Kawa dosn't always get the chance to immediatly tend to. | |||

| I can be better mod cause I do not swear or insult newbies. I saw Interdpth called me an idiot and also insults all other newbies. So interdpth is not really a good choice. Swearing is really bad. And Majin is a good choice because he does not flame newbies and he is an excellent romhacker. |

Most people that don't visit this forum I'd expect see it as a joke forum, due to its state of total insecurity. You think Acmlm is ever going to poke into this place? I doubt it.
