So, there's no FAQ for EliteMap and it's tools, eh? Let's just MAKE one then!

Ask a senseful question of how to do this or that and I'll answer, unless someone else can. Knowing that I'm not on that often the latter would be handy.

There are quite some tricks, some requiring some other program...

Dur, anything it tells you it needs. If it complains about MSComCtl, get that. Same goes for any other dll.

Elite Map doesn't do that, but it would be a great feature.

Stay on topic, this thread is for questions about EliteMap! But anyways use a hex editor, there may be some program out there that will do it for you, not sure, but this really isn't the place to talk about this.

Getting most of my good ideas in the little furry freak's room, I already figured out a good way to handle the INSANE LAYOUT of wild pokemon data.

It's an editor for the Pokemon series, and it allows you to edit overworld and standard maps in the games.

Actually, *off-topic* Yes, theres a utility... that could work, I dont know. Called Wild Pokemon Editor.... I believe. When I put tall grass(or tiles), I cant walk into it, why? Is there a tutorial?

First, the Easter Release will include the all-new Bewildered tool. Guess what it does?

Second, by default, the Wall attribute is set to the left mouse button. The Attribute box is below the tiles. Select grass from the tile box, and walkthrough from the attrib box. Then, notice how, in the map editor, the rectangle becomes green instead of red when you draw a tile.

Third, the Easter Release will be released in a couple weeks, making it an Easter Release.
