| Maya had returned to one of her many refugees while she had been running away. She came to apoligize for intruding on them and then leaving so abrubtly, but as she came closer she could see smoke on the horizen. Maya ran as fast as she could and almost cried out at what she saw. The home where the kind family had lived was burned to the ground and only smoldering ashes were left. Maya felt someone with her Perception magic and turned her attention onto them. A look of pure determination crossed her face and her mind raged with anger and disgust. "You!," she yelled towards the person,"Why did you do this!? No, nevermind you aren't worth the waste now pay for hurting the innocent!" Maya pushed her arm forward and wind surged forward towards the person. Rocks and dirt were swept up into the wind, and with the wind being strong enough to through someone off balance and being thrown into it the dirt and rocks only made it worse. |

| OOC: Mind if I join with you, again? "whaa??" The person loses his balance, and the Rocks knock him to the ground. He is wearing a long-sleeved shirt covered in magic runes, and elemental symbols, with pants to match. "Now who the heck are you?" This person stands up, and focuses on Maya, ready to defend himself OOC: Welcome to the world, Garath. |

| "I can't believe what you did!" Again Maya cried out as she reached for more power. Fire shot towards Garath, but before the blaze even reached Garath the flames turned into a moving wall. The fire consumed the very ground and the fire on the house started anew. "I can't allow you to live!" Maya had tears streaming down her face as she remembered the family that helped her when she was sure she would die. |

| Garath thinks,"She is too overcome to talk to" "Aqua Burst!" Garath makes a simple motion, and a stream of water bursts forth to attack the flames. Garath's attack lacks the emotion of Maya's, and the remaining blaze consumes him. Garath's clothes look unaffected, but it hit the rest of him. "Defensive isn't going to help me, Auron Dance!" Garath makes three complex motions, and shining winds form above him |

| Then things get suddenly cold around Garath and ice forms all around him. Soon spears of ice are apparent and they shine with the light as it bounces off them. "Prepare yourself for the chilling burn of ice, Frozen Blades!" Maya open her hand the all the ice became rigid and straight making each piece into a perfect blade. Maya closed her hand and the ice shot inwards at Garath at a high speed. Another thing was triggered though and Maya saw no real world item, but only magic. This was ment to be her defence against herself when she became to emotional, but now it seemed different. She could detect all energy around her and even saw her attack and exactly what it would do before it happened. |

| Garath senses the energy around him as it quickly forms "Arg, defensive again, Varint Auron Shield!" Garath magic forms a shield of constantly changing winds whirling around him, and these ice spears get caught in the winds Garath yells over his loud winds to Neotransotaku,"This is no battle for entertainment, she thinks I destroyed this town!" |

| Maya felt Neotransotaku, but didn't know who he was so she assumed Garath had somehow formed another version of himself. She felt her ice being deflected, but she didn't put two and two together and launched an attack on Neotransotaku. The ground started to quake under him and rocks started shooting up at him. Soon these rocks were followed by spikes and they also went at an incredible speed. "I don't know how you got out of my attack, but you will wish you hadn't soon enough!" |

| OOC: Please don't put your entire post in italics Garath pulls down his shield "I would like help in calming her down so that we can talk about this" "Ice Statis!" Garath makes an expansive gesture followed by some strange gesture, and a spot above Maya solidifies into ice. It shoots down towards Maya, apparently trying to smash her OOC: This spell creates ice that will envelop a being and freeze him/her into it's cold interior, however it will not follow a target, if the being moves. |

| Maya feels the attacks comming at her and panic. She doesn't know how to combine her magic yet so making a defence with the opposit elements, or even the same, would be impossible. Then she remembered her stronger magic. She let her arms drop and stood still. A distortion in the air was obvious, but still with the attacks comming that didn't really matter. "So there are two of you... Looks like I better try harder!" Pure power was forced into the air around her and an energy shield was made. A rather strong one too as the attacks were temporarily blocked by it. She still couldn't see with normal vision, but her own shield made it impossible to see outside of it. She began to think to herself as she tried to block out her Perception magic, but it wasn't quite willing to leave. |

| The ice tries to envelop the shield completely, but is destroyed as it tries to push its way through "This is the perfect time for reasoning. Hey! Can you hear me? Whoever you are, I did not touch this town! I was surveying the destruction when you came along and attacked me. I can try to help you find who you are looking for..." Garath makes a gesture upwards, and floats ten feet into the air and starts surveying the land. |

| All Maya could here was mubling and she began to regain some of her calm, but anger still controlled her. She realized that the only thing they could be doing is making plans to get through her shield, but they will soon learn that a shield can also be a strong weapon. And with that the shield started to expand, slowly at first, but as it reached a good distance around her (10 feet or so) it flashed and shot out in all direction. Everything that wasn't a threat passed through the shield but other things hit it and were either crushed or flung backwards. | |||

| "Woah!" Garath makes a quick gesture and a wall of Earth stands between him and the shield, Garath floats down to the Earth and lands bracing himself, and sits on his pile of dirt as it shoots away from Maya, in an upward direction "I guess she doesn't believe me... I wonder what this town means to her." OOC: Garath could pull off such feat of destruction, but he would need time to cast the firey spell, and he would be utterly exhasted for a while. Not to mention whatever guarded this town, certainly at least as powerful as Maya. |

| OOC not near as powerful, just a town for people... no heroes. Maya whatched as her attack was so easily escaped and she began to call forth more power, but she ran into a wall of sorts. She could feel the power inside her, but there was no way she could use it right now. Her body was almost completely drained of normal energy and another attack so soon could be deadly. She let go of the power and waited, her vision came back to her and she looked around a little bit, but anger still controlled her and she seethed on the inside wanting to attack now, but he couldn't. | The spell mearly clashed with some sort of energy that Maya was projecting. The energy wasn't visible, but even someone that is blind in the arts of magic could feel it. The energy was the darkness that wasn't supposed to be controlled by the greatest of magicians, much less a young one. The energy turned inwards and Maya absorb a good deal of it. "Dark Wave..." Maya's anger unleashed a new element to her disposal and much worse, or better depending on what side you are on, new attacks. Dark energy flared out from Maya as she moved her hand towards Neotransotaku. The energy wave was indeed strong, but merely an opener compared to what she could do if needed. |
