I greatly recommend Fullmetal alchemist's soundtrack. Lots of songs, and most of them are good. They just forgot to include the waltz Another album I think you might enjoy is Rin's Jikuu. If you've watched any episode from Samurai 7 and listened to the outro, you'll know what their work is like. They basically mix modern music with traditional Japanese instruments. If you enjoy game music, Star Ocean 3 has some very nice pieces to it |

what's funny about this, is that I have heard all of 1 suburban legends song, and 0 Steve Ferris songs. and what else is funny, and I apologize Chibi for interuppting your perfectly fine thread, is that in two threads you have yet to actually give a reason as to why I cannot like Catch 22, other than them being "pop-ska." The term pop-ska is like an oxymoron, because ska isn't popular in the least bit. Whatever, Mr-I'm-A-Ska-Leetest. You can make false claims without backing them up, and I'll just go ahead ignoring you until I feel the urge to punch someone, like now, and at which point I'll reply to your useless posts. Anyways, a different band I'd reccommend is The Streets. I'm not sure if you'd label it hip-hop, or rap, but that's what I call it. But believe me, it's not like "yo man I was walkin wit mah gat blast caps" type rap. |

I like The Streets, I remember their "Original Pirate Material" album in 2002 as well. My favorite song is "Too Much Brandy" I've never really known what to classify The Streets as, although I guess "Hip Hop", just pretty unique in that genre.... Somebody once suggested "Brit-Hop" Aussie Hip Hop is interesting too, for that matter, although I'm not a huge fan of a lot of it -- my brother absolutely loves it though -- I gotta admit I find the Hilltop Hoods "Nosebleed Section" kinda catchy.... |

Originally posted by ChibiTarynOriginally posted by drjayphd Hell Yeah, the Living End rocks.. erm. rockED. Their latest CD wasnt so impressive. Back in the day, every song they wrote had some crazy fuckin solo's for drums, bass, and guitar.. their riffs were also way higher class Now, they seem to sort of try and get by on 3 power chords, and it doesnt have the same charm. My favorite songs by them are So Lonely, Witch Doctor, Monday, Living In Sin, Strange, They Have, West End Riot, Trace of Doubt, and Prisoner of Society. Also, they've done some bitchin' covers. Girls on Film(Duran Duran), I Get a Kick out of You, The train Kept a Rollin, Saturday Night 1015(The Cure), Out of this Game, and Tainted Love (Cell). |

Yeah Living End did rock...Big Day Out, Melbourne, 1999. That was awesome. Save the Day & Bloody Mary were wicked too...actually, that whole album is. Same with Jebediah...first album is immortal but their new stuff has been pretty much toiletry. Taryn, just get Eskimo Joe's newest album. Watch them on the Arias tonight if you need convincing. From the Sea is great from the new one, and if you want an old song look no further than Sweater. Tristan |

If you like epic goofy videogame-ish inspired-like metal, look into Six Magics. They're quite the good Power Metal. | |||
