It's been requested numereous times. I can't swear it's been on the actual bug tracker, but it's been in the back of my mind ever since I restarted the development effort way back in August. I implemented it the way I did because I use 90 posts per page personally, and you all use 20-ish, the board default at 20 if I'm not mistaken. I'm tired of having to "guess" which page to go to.

Some of those other smileys - the grin and rollseyes ones in particular - I think are copyrighted xor included with another forum kit, so it wouldn't be wise to include those by default. I don't personally even like them that much. I like the idea of customizable fields however. I'll see what I can do.

When using the "show posts" option from a user's profile, I get post links to thread 0 instead of to the thread the post is in.

I'd say is the most overused shitty smiley ever on message boards. It's everywhere. is infinitely better.
We should just stick to Acmlm's smilies. They're great, get the message across, and are not animated. No need to fix what's not broken, yeah?

Well, I just spent part of the evening cleaning up the Edit Layout feature even more. Now there should be absolutely no lapse between the original post you get and the refreshed sample after previewing. No more double or missing sig separators, or missing post background.

We should be in for a good release tomorrow afternoon, board time.

I'm adding in some last minute changes that Erk wanted in but did not assign to me on the bug tracker *cough*. Stuff like a config variable specifying what email address your registration email verification code should be sent from, if you want your email viewable to users that are not staff members, and a quick adaption of his script to edit mods. Hold tight; in two to three hours from this post we should be up and running on b3!
