Whay made me laugh the most was: 8. Is your son obsessed with "Lunix"?

Especially when they spelled it WRONG. And well...it

"Popular hacker software includes "Comet Cursor", "Bonzi Buddy" and "Flash"."

Oh, shit. Looks like I have to turn myself in. After all, this is Linyos Torovoltos's fault, that damn commie.

But my most favorite, favorite part was this:

6. Does your son use Quake?

Quake is an online virtual reality used by hackers. It is a popular meeting place and training ground, where they discuss hacking and train in the use of various firearms. Many hackers develop anti-social tendencies due to the use of this virtual world, and it may cause erratic behaviour at home and at school.

If your son is using Quake, you should make hime understand that this is not acceptable to you. You should ensure all the firearms in your house are carefully locked away, and have trigger locks installed. You should also bring your concerns to the attention of his school.

Is this supposed to be some kind of joke or something? I guess it has to be.
It gave me a good laugh...

"One of the reasons your son is interested in switching providers is to get away from AOL's child safety filter."
A real hacker could easily bypass THAT. Heck, a web programmer like me could.

" AMD chips are never sold in stores, and you will most likely be told that you have to order them from internet sites."
Cool, I've got illegal stores close to my home.

Sorry gotta go back to my "Hacker" habits..... Or find a way to make my stupid Serial Number on a "trusted" system.

This is pretty fucking hilarious. And the best part part is that it's constructed oh so beautifully. A masterpiece of composition. It would probably fool a parent though. I'd guess that the majority of adults over 30 out there are uninformed about the majority of the information in the article.

Ohhh, that was a good read. My dad read it and he is 44 now and he didn't believe one word of it. If someone else thought this was real they deserve to be haxored by their kids.

Omg rofl

I could imagin this being serious in a couple of years, though, so there's actually not much to laugh about that... considering I actually know people who believe things like that (e.g. my grandmother who's obsessed with worldwide jewish conspiracies, devils possessing TVs and microchips from hell).

So I guess I do have one. When it's time for the talk about flowers and bees, I'll just link him to one of Leg's threads.
