Well, I'm getting a pet...Soon...I hope. Thus, I want to know what one to get. I'm taking it with me to university, because I'll need something to keep me company

1. Leopard Gecko - A cute little bugger, can be housed in a 10 gallon terrarium. Basic needs, docile, can be handled, etc. Easy to feed.

2. Bearded Dragon - Any Aussie who knows a thing or two about their animals should know this one. Gets pretty big, requiring a minimum of a 40 gallon terrarium.

3. Hermit Crab - If you don't know what this is...Wow. Needs to be housed in groups, easy to handle, can be kept in small enclosures, max. 10 gallons for 5 crabs. Easy to feed.

These are just basic overviews of the animals, I know TONNES of information for each type of animal.

Definitely go with the Bearded Dragon. They're awesome. Don't get a leopard gecko because, they are cute and interesting for a while, then they just get boring due to their size and inability to do stuff. and uh, hermit crab? Uh... sounds pretty boring.

Seriously, cats can get pretty fucking tough. Provided, of coursse, you make them outside/inside cats with some strays around. My experience andd the scars on my cats face proves that he kicks ass =D

My science teacher a few years back had a bearded dragon in her classroom. It was awesome.

However, if you are taking it to college with you, I would suggest the Leopard Gecko, just for size and transportability issues.

Hehe, yeah seeing as I got three fuzzies of my own (Taz, Bandit, and Farah). They're so cute and fun to watch as they run and play. Just be careful that they don't try and steal anything though. They tend to do that.

Oh, I would've bought one, but due to their...Hyper...activity they require a MASSIVE enclosure. Something along the lines of 6 feet by 4 feet by 5 feet to really thrive.
