| As my friend explained to me, it doesn't matter how powerful the system is, it's when they release, Third Parties, and their library of games. As of now, The Xbox is easily the most physically powerful system and has better capabilites than both the GC and PS2, but does that mean it's the best? No. The PS2 still retains 70$ of market sales, while both Nintendo and Microsoft only pull in about 12% each. How? Sony easily has the most support via 3rd Party companies and developers, while it was released first. Just a fact of truth that I thought I'd share. Am I saying that Xenon/Xbox 2 will be the best this time around? Not exactly, but their sales could go up higher, but still Microsoft sucks horribly in the Japanese market, so they're losing a lot of support there. Mainly the point I'm trying to get out, is the system doesn't always have to be the most advanced to be the best. |

| I'm not buying the next generation. Fuck that, I want to keep my money. If Nintendo manages to keep their word and not release the Revolution for a LONG while, then, I'll be glad, since Sony and Microsoft obviously aren't happy enough with the software they have now. Bleh. Whatever. |

The fact of the matter is, the numbers in the most advantageous market, North America state that the X-Box2 or Xenon will probably gain a larger foothold than the Nintendo Revolution. Why? It appeals to mainstream gamers. The PS3 is always going to be like all Sony consoles, a poorly made piece of machinery that has good support. Look, I love Nintendo, but I also love to be reasonable, you people are being idiots when you don't look at market trends and swear by fanboy console partisan warfare. |
