| Well, this certainly explains a lot about our Cyber-Ninja friend... I actually wasn't really a fan of the Mortal Kombat series, it just didn't appeal to me. That was back when I was a little kid, though, and fighting games just didn't catch my eye. Nowadays, I suppose I'd pick one up if I thought it was interesting, like Marvel vs. Capcom or Guilty Gear, but to me, MK is something I remember from my days of spending time at the roller rink, watching the adults play and not really knowing what they were doing. |

| I grew up with MK...Id play every single one with my cousin for hours and hours. Awww the memories. Im definatly getting this one without a doubt..the question is when? Im tempted to go and spend my own money and get it ASAP...or I could wait and get it for free....a tough decision. Oh, is Liu Kang in this game or not?! Cause Ive heard some things. |

| I was afraid someone was going to beat me to this... I just got back from Gamestop, and they said they were getting it in tomorrow. I'm bummed... EDIT: Correction, they said it goes on sale tomorrow. If I don't have it by tomorrow, assume I killed somebody... EDIT AGAIN: Yes, Liu Kang is in Deception. | Liu Kang is an unlockable by the way. Might try it when it comes out for the GameCube next year - apparently we get an "enhanced" version with 2 extra modes. Whatever that means. Sure as hell doesn't mean online play. |

| Most of the reason I'm getting the game in the first place is the online play. If Cube users have to wait, I hope they at LEAST get some exclusive characters *cough*Sektor*cough*, or something of the sort. They deserve it for getting gypped out of kickass online features yet again... |

| im so not going to get this. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance was the biggest piece of shit ever put together, ONE fatality?! a whole whopping THREE special moves!? fighting styles that changed nothing but animations?! Weak and boring arenas? No, unless Jesus was added to the development team, i doubt Deception is going to be any sort of a Miracle for the series. but then, MK has sort of always been a shitty fighting game that was raised to high levels of success due to its gore and trendyness. The engine has always been real stiff, and most of the characters special moves sucked and often times made fighting radically unbalanced. As a game, the MK series blows. But from a Marketing standpoint, its one of the best ifghters ever made. So fuck that, Im not even going to try MONEY KOMBAT 34284832 |
