In Super Mario All-Stars play a level in Super Mario Bros.3. Press select .You get big. Press more and you get suits. You may use it for help in tight spots like castles, airships or any level. Its very helpful. I know its an old game. But it's renewed. (edited by Mariokoolguy on 10-01-04 03:42 PM) |

What are you talking about? You most likely have the beta version of the game, or your using a game genie (or other cheat device). I know for a fact that this doesn't happen in either of my versions (cartridge SMAS, and SMAS+W and both on my computer).

Originally posted by Mariokoolguy Saying the name of emus or roms anything isn't bad, its only requesting rom downloads. And keikonium's right. When using zsnes or any other emu, this won't do anything. I'm not accusing you of being a liar, because it may actually happen with you. Probably because you have some game genie code set up which does this. |

Yes, it does happen on the rom. It happens on mine too. Interesting little bug that came in during dumping... Did you know holding A while pressing select gives you kuribo shoe There IS a game genie code for the NES VERSION... not the SNES version, so any of you people who accuse of Sharking, or other codes, just letting you know (edited by Kirby ATW on 10-01-04 08:26 PM) |

I think that it is just a minor hack applied to the rom that people didn't notice when uploading to their rom sites, that or it's a bug that nobody has noticed that activates a hidden debug code, I think this was in the original NES one too, as seen activated by a GG code... I might be wrong though

I saw the trick on a website. Can't exactly know what the website is though. Better look in History.Oh,the ROMS could be a little different from the real games. (edited by Mariokoolguy on 10-02-04 08:38 AM) |

Yeah, doesn't work for Super Mario All Stars or Super Mario All Stars+SMW for me. Probably just the roms then. (edited by Xeogred on 10-02-04 02:27 PM) |

It have never worked for me, but I've heard something about this time ago. But I think that is just because of a Game Genie code or something, unless there are some beta versions around us...

Its worked for me and used no game genie as rom not real) Remember that the GBA games have some kind of code on the back. maybe the same super mario games are different by that in SNES cartridges. |

I think I have the rom with this "cheat" enabled, and if I remember correctly, another button (x or y) or some combination will result in the kiribo (sp?) shoe... I'll test it... (opens ZSNES) Doesn't work on the rom I have now... or maybe it was just a glitch in ZSNES... |

For some people it worked and for some sometimes, others didnt have it.Maybe its because NINTENDO debugs the games and they take out those tricks.

If it worked in the ROM it would work on the cartridge, unless there's some really obscure bug in ZSNES (unlikely) or the ROM is patched with a so-called "trainer" without being labeled as such (much more likely).

The Roms are the same as the cartridges.Because there are different versions of those, they do or do not have that. You know like a Debug version/Original version/Non Glitch and code compatible version. (edited by Mariokoolguy on 10-05-04 07:43 PM) |

Just to clear a few things up... Yes, this thing is a debug. Some roms have it, some dont. Yes, there should be a code that enables it, no I dont know where it is for the SNES version. Yes, I do know where the code is for the NES version. Check here for NES code |
