My brother was playing Animal Crossing and got an NES without a game on it. When he uses it it says "I want to play my NES but I have no software". What's up with this thing?

You need ones with game boxes on top of them. Those ones you can play. All he got was a decoration.

If I remember right, you have to have the nes to play the games in the first place, the "decorative" one. Once you have had that, you can play your games, but otherwise that nes cannot do anything but sit there.

Nope. I haven't gotten one, but I've got about ten games sitting in my basement, all playable.

Wouldn't it just be easier if you could insert all of your games into the nes and store them that way (like your music)? In my house, it would clear out tons of space.
