I just...can't describe them. They're mad! Listening to Disco Volante right now, on the song "Ma Meeshka Mow Skwoz". It's wild. I loooooove Trey Spruance! I have an album by another band of his, Secret Chiefs 3, called Book of Horizons, which is great...just lovely. Wow... Anyone else into Mr. Bungle or SC3 or any of the stuff Mike Patton's involved with? |

I don't know the name of the album, but I've got a copy of one from a friend which is crazy and awesome. It's got Sweet Charity, Pink Cigarette, and a bunch of other songs that I don't know the names of because they're incomprehinsible. Strangely, I enjoy them very much... except near the end of the album where it all goes crazy and kills people. Still. Good shit.

AMG tells me that would be California. I've just downloaded it. ;P Will probably listen to it in a bit.

Oh, the actual CD itself said "Five bonus tracks" or something on it, and if I recall correctly those five tracks were not listed on Amazon, where I went and looked at it. This was all some time ago. But this one has fifteen tracks, and only ten were listed there. This may be of some interest to you.

They probably just added some extra tracks to the CD they gave you then? I do that when I make copies of CDs for people - give 'em an album then stick some other tracks by the same band at the end. And yes, California is indeed grand. |

Personally haven't heard much of them. But I have the Faith No More album with Trey Spruance (King For A Day, Fool For A Lifetime) and Mike Patton's gone even more batshit (in a good way) since FNM, which I wasn't sure was even possible. Allegedly, he contributed to Bjork's new one (nearly all of the instrumentation was actually vocals, which Patton specializes in) but I can't find credits for him. |
