| Eh...might as well... Best I have is what I always have: 160K/sec. DSL connect. Doesn't count lower UL sites and BT DLs. UL-wise, the best I can pull is 16K/sec. |

| Once I got a starting speed of 9k/sec. Which, if I'm not mistaken, is impossible on a 56k modem. My computer lies to me. ='( My downloads often start around 5k/sec, then stay around two or three... or less. I hate flash animations. But that's a story for another day. |

If you press on the english little flag you'll see that it magically turns into english  Exactly, since everyone lives on different places we have to download from different places. We can't take a download from a server that's "in the middle" because it all depends on atlantic connections and so on and so forth. It also depends on the pipe of the one you download from, I took sunet.se because they, oh, a few gigabit. Anyways the thread was just about what the highest dl speed was. You downloaded from the same place, FreeDos? |

| 90 KB/s ...which was wierd since my download limit is 500 kilobits per second (62,5 KB/s). It did go down but turned stable around 70 KB/s. Most servers I download from start slow (usually around dial-up speed), and not fast.  |

| My Cable is like $40.00/month and 29.99 of that is for the internet, and 10 for the cable for tv. or something, but anyway, the way I have it setup is using a usb port(which I recommend rather then a network cable reason is with the network cable, I had 1 Mbit speed, and with the usb cable, I have a 1.2 Mbit speed, its not much a difference, but it is noticable) see:  the only bad thing is, I have a 10GB download maximum per month, and 5GB upload. although I have never went over it.... |
