| Could someone tell me wether I should try and make money to fully expand one work shop, or split shit up, or ignore it for now (I'm in Aquios, but I forgot what I'm suposed to go do now). Sion, how do you find that swordsman guy? I supose I'm at that point where I can recruit him. Just put it in spoilertags if you think it should be. And does anyone know which characters are permanent with you, and which ones are optional? Can you recruit everyone optional or does this game have a set amount of slots for optionals too? -.- And lastly, who's worth it, and who isn't? (Like, in SO2 Noel was the most worthless character I had) |

Does anyone know how the hell I get to the passage that leads me to the Mosel Dunes? I've been trying to find it for the longest now and its really pissing me off. The guide book doesn't help jack shit, and I just cannot figure it out. I am so close in putting this game aside for a while.  |

| A few things that piss Sofie off: - there's only 1 Nel in this game - the sounds in the menu's make me very, very upset - towns could really use, like, icons instead of dots. If I am in a town I need an hour for just to explore it, I want to know which building I'm entering. (I know they use yellow dots for private homes, green for business places and blue for inns, but still..) - the tutorials suck donkey balls; you still have to find stuff out on your own. Sofie is an unhappy pony when this includes wasting money she doesn't have. - the forest fairy and Farleen should never have been given voices. I've been having nightmares about both. - the lack of mage-like characters (you know, the kind that can crank out magic because they have more mp than hp) - the lack of playable women (so far) - the disturbingly deep cut on the genitals of Albel. and his entire appearance for that matter. - where's my harem damnit? I like playing with girls better, because they look cooler when they make corkscrewsaltojumps. |

| Well, I finally got to the second disk and I clock in at 47 hours. Most of that time was spent in the factory, I swear. I don't know if Sion is out of the fire cavern or not, but if he's having problems with just the enemies around there then he's in for one hell of a time later. XD Forget magic, make yourself a kick ass weapon with the orichalcum! You wont need to worry about hit points after that.  Ugh, I think I have to level Maria now or something. They should do what other games do and have your other characters auto-level up to your level. Like KOTOR. It's only fair. |

I'm already at 37+ hours and I'm still on the 1st disc...course, I've been stuck for a while.  I forgot what my levels are, but I know they're sorta high right now as well. Might as well fight if I can't find my way, right?  |

| So like, I am about to go rescue Ameena but after I went into the forest and walked around some, I had no idea how to get ahold of the obnoxious fairy that says the obvious comment about certain trees. So I went out and decided to level some since the exp was pretty good, I started out at level 14-15. I made Nel leader and then just held to the back. Now I'm level 33. And I haven't even rescued Ameena XD, it rocks. Damn I love that skill that Nel has, Flying Guillotine, it hits for both mp and hp, and it comes back after you throw it, extremly nice on packed enemies. I also maxed out HP damage increase on Cliff and almost MP damage, I do alot of MP kills nowadays, it's fun. Whenever I find synthesizing material I'm going to mass produce ori and get myself a deadly weapon. What's scary is that even if I'm level 33 I got 11.5k hp with Cliff and you can get to level 255... Oh yeah, Leg, you should be able to get more than 999 attack, the best sword for Fayt is Levantine sword (like in SO2) and it has 2.2k attack. Btw, get refined Boots of Prowess, they add 30% to ATK/DEF. Not that I have it but ... it'd be nice (edited by Leland Gaunt on 10-08-04 09:26 PM) |

| If you're having trouble near the end of the game, level up Adray and make him a +8,000 INT weapon (synth two dark crystals to make one +1,000 INT) and suck enemies away with Southern Cross. | |||

| i just got to the second disc and im lvl 30 now....without spoiling anything(although I dont think it would....its just a boss) the last boss before you get to the second disc is annoying....especially the attack when he does mp and hp damage about 4 times in a row. | |||

The reason is I missed a lot of optional stuff. Like bosses for one. That, and I didn't even use my disintigration ring. And I can't have Jizuko at a higher level than me. EDIT: Ok, get this. I went back to my old save and had to make my weapons again. No big deal. Went back to the fire caverns with all four bonuses going on. Then I fought that big guy in the fire pool who's the very first part of the fire caverns. I kept getting 1200XP each time. Then I went to fight the dragon, got him the first time without breaking the chain. 6000XP right thre. Then on his second form, he broke it but then I got it back. Luckily for me it was the 300%XP one. After it was done, I ended up with 12000XP from that form. =D I'm level 38 now.EDIT AGAIN: Wow........the story just took a weird Matrix turn. I can see it getting criticized heavily for that. But it really does make you think doesn't it? | indeed, I was suprised when I got so far in the second disc....weird turn there...but I think it was a cool turn...I like faytes alternate costume you get when you get so many battle trophies... the battle arena in gemity its addictive, especially the rank mode...easy way to get exp, and money. Uggghhh..... Ok, I just beat the game. I got up at 11pm last night and I finished it about an hour ago. (7PM) Oh man, I'm tired. Anyway, the plot was interesting and all, but it's been done before. *cough Spoiler: cough* When I play SO and SO2 again, it just wont be the same. MATRIX Anyway, I still have lots to do now that I'm done. I need to get to level 255 before Jizuko does. |
