Personally, I see brand-name shirts as an announcement of "Hi, I like to waste money, so I bought a $75 shirt. Pretty soon, I'll have a $40,000 car, a $300,000 house, and be more in debt than the U.S. government."

That depends. If they go outside, yeah, they'll have some problems. But throw up some black curtains and keep 'em inside, and they'll be fine.

I don't hate goths as a group, I just hate the individuals. I hate the ones who intentionally label themselves goths (or anything else, really - but I'm staying with the topic) for their stupidity, and I also hate a lot of the people I've known that call themselves goths because those particular individuals also happen to be assholes.

I wonder what fuels someone to become a Goth. If they want to be bleak and dark why would they act so happy. Is it just for the style? If it is than these people got some baaaad taste.

I've hardly ever met anyone who customized or made their own clothing. (Cosplayers aside :p) I know there's an appetite for that among some people, but it seems few and far between.

I seriously want to stab the next person I see wearing any of the following t-shirts:

-"Everyone loves an Italian/Irish/German girl."
-"New Jersey: Only the strong survive." (there's another one like this I forgot)
-"Don't mess with Texas."
-etc. etc. it's not funny or clever the 1000th time around.

Everyone has these fucking shirts! You see the problem now? My dream job is probably just opening a t-shirt shop where people can come in and put whatever they want on a shirt and get it for like 10 dollars or so. Then at least I wouldn't have to look at the same damn shirts all day.

My personal style is pretty much gym shoes (I wear alot of Air Force Ones even through they are really main stream. I just like the simplicity of them) and I need my pants loose and comfortable with big pockets, cant go wrong with cargos. As for shirts I really dont care so long as its cottony soft...but Ive been wearing alot of polo shirts lately cause they make me look suave But thats all I not much of an accessorizer I even stopped wearing a watch because it just got too annoying.

Which brings us back to Goths, why so many accessories? It cant possibly be comfortable does it all have some sort of meaning? Or is it just worn to look "cool"?

For pants, I wear blue jeans or cargo pants. Nothing fancy. I don't want them to be butt-huggers but I don't want them to be saggy like...you know. Those huge ass ones. I like them right in the middle. Loose and comfortable. And I want the bottom part of the jeans to at least go over the tongue of my shoe. I hate when the cuff at the bottom is too small and it tucks under the tongue.

Thats...pretty much it for me. I wear a lot of those button up shirts too but it's hard to find a style I like.

Almost forgot, I don't care if they're out of style. Corduroy pants > You

*high fives Legion* w00t! w00t!

I like my pants baggy enough so they are loose and wonderful but the still need to go from waist to foot, and I dont like them dragging on the floor...in fact i HATE THAT!

Are Goths the same people who wear the humongoud pants that like cover thier entire feet and drag on the floor? Or is that some other kind of crazy?

The kind of Goth you can bring home to Mom

Sion, I think that's both actually. Stoners, skaters, goths, rappers, etc....

Oh, and yeah. A little bit of gothness is actually pretty hot I think. But that second picture is beyond fucking overboard.

No your thinking of another kind of baggy pants...maybe I can find a pic. Its like the kind with side all cut so it will be like giant bell bottoms or something.

The sad part is that I dont think that last pic is photo shopped

the thing I hate is the Goth people who flat out like to live in denial, are all "shut the fuck up I'm not goth" when their face is clearly as white as Jackson's, and their attire all black...eh, that second picture is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. It just pisses me off...its not in any way cool, you aren't making a statement, you just look fucking ridiculous.

Oh, and an unhealthy fixation with blood, and cutting, and vampiral shit...it freaks me the fuck out, how can these goths friging find "beauty" in drawing blood from themselves? It dosn't make you cool, you'll just fuck ourself up. One less whiny annoying goth, I suppose. Oh, and EMO sucks. I'm just going to say this now, and if you think otherwise then that's fine and dandy for you.
