I am using the ghost house exit as backround tiles but when mario jumps, he goes behind on only some of the tiles. How do I prevent that?

I suppose your using ExGFX right? Anyway, to prevent mario from going behind objects, hold you mouse over the object (in LM) that Mario goes behind. Remember the number you should see in the tooltip window. Now open up the 16x16 editor and look for that nmuber. Click on the tile in the 16x16 editor and clcik the Edit 16x16 attributes. Now you will see a tab that says either "Dont change layer" or it will say "layer priority enabled". Just change this tab to "layer priority disabled". Hope that works.
