| I got my driver's license 3 days ago, actuallly, and I'm 19 (then again, the limit in this country is 18, not 16). It's a great thing, being on the road, alone (I should say "go wherever you want to go", but I wouldn't know how that is, since I don't have my own car). I got mine last year, when I was 22 (hi, Legion!). Scored a 100 on the written test and a 96 on the actual driving test, even though I had very little practice beforehand (and even the 96 was debatable, because I was marked down for something the book TOLD me to do). I guess I'm just a natural.  |

I got my license when I was 18, right before I graduated high school. In fact, I got to drive to my ceremony, it was the coolest thing. But I did fail the driver's test the first time, I didn't even get out of the parking lot. I cut it back way too fast and she told me to pull up and get out... I had failed. That BITCH! Anywho, the second time, I did just fine. Now a car feels like an extension of my body. Quite honestly, I don't know how I survived before I got my license. Being dependant on others for transportation is a real bitch  |

| Getting my driver's license was not hard. I passed the written test and the driving test on the first tries. I did not need to get minimum amount of supervised driving time. I just had to pass a pass a driving test after having a permit for some amount of time. My driving test was to just drive around a few blocks near the police station, I was not asked to parallel park, the task that many people seem to worry about. I didn't even try to get a learner's permit until I was 18 years old. I got my license a year later. |

| I should get my G1 soon, so that I can at least take the car for a spin with my parents in it. But I don't care. Even if I bought a car they would confiscate and screw me over. It is just another way for my parents to syphon money from me. This time, I'll have to chip in for gas. |
