Hi. I have a couple of questions (each on a different concept of LM) I wish could be answered, please. Firstly, is it possible to configure what level a Yoshi's Wings item will take Mario/Luigi and Yoshi when the grab the item? The reason I am asking this is b/c I wish it were possible for me to create a "flying test" level (aka one where Mario/Luigi and Yoshi has to do a lot of flying while avoiding enemies and obstacles (think of the level "Bramble Scramble", or the flying part of the level "Screech's Sprint" in Donkey Kong Country 2 (both levels have Squawks the parrot in them), and you might get what I mean here). Secondly, if 2 or more pipes or stars in the OV editor both/all have the same exit value and destination exit value, how can you set different values for each pipe affected by this annoying problem? In the first world of my hack, Mario/Luigi can enter the pipe that is connected to the one they come out of whenever they are about to go to the Yellow Switch Palace, but if they go back to the first world through the second pipe, they end up stuck in the top right corner of the map for the first world. Incase anyone is wondering, yes, the two pipes are connected to each other both ways. Anyway, thanks in advance. |

1. I don't believe you can change the destination of the Yoshi wings without some ASM hacking. You might want to know that the Yoshi wings can have 2 possible destinations, either C8 or 1C8, depending on the overworld number of the level. 2. Just go into the OW editor, click on a star or pipe, and then, under "Options", click Star/Pipe Exits, or something like that. There'll be a dropdown box where you can choose values for your destination / exit. You can choose any values for these, as the coordinate points and submap details will reconfigure once you set up the values on both exit tiles. |

Anyone know how I can get different coordinates for each of the following Destination Exit values (all of them have the coordinates "000A, 0006" ) in hopes I can get over this problem? The values which all share the coordinates above are 0, 1, 8, B and 11. |

Try deleting the stars/pipes and insert new ones, and set those to the values you need. That worked for me when I had the same problem. |
