| GoogleBots aren't related to the board. Google, like all other search engines, use 'bots' to travel through the Web. Bots are programs designed to automate tasks. In the case of GoogleBots, the search Web pages, saving keywords and such to be put up on the search at Google. The disadvantage, though, (to us, not Google) is that they change IP addresses every few seconds, so when they came to this board, they appeared as hundreds of guests. |

I remember that last year, the Google bots kept loading the same few threads over and over and gave each of them about 20000 views within a few days, that was annoying  Even an IP ban didn't stop them ...I saw about 100 guests once, that was someone trying about 100 different proxies at the same time ... I hate those proxies sometimes too |
