BERLIN (Reuters) - German broadcaster Deutsche Welle has added Klingon, spoken by the bumpy-headed aliens of the "Star Trek" television series, to the 30 languages used on its Web site, the network says.

The pages at http://klingon.dw-world.de/english/index.php were added to celebrate the site's 10th anniversary.

"The dialogue of cultures does not end at the edge of our solar system," Deutsche Welle director Erik Bettermann said in a statement on Wednesday.

Deutsche Welle is a government-funded radio and television network that broadcasts mainly for German expatriates and Germany enthusiasts.

Klingon was invented for use in "Star Trek" and has found fans worldwide. The Deutsche Welle site aims to make brushing up on Klingon "qay'be'" or "no problem".

Ah yes the germans has beaten everyone to have a nerd-freindly news website now nerds who only know klingon. Yes now 30 year old basment dwelling klingon wanna-be's can now read the german news. And trust me people the english, french, Americans are next sadly

God how I despise Star Trek nerds.

"The dialogue of cultures does not end at the edge of our solar system," Deutsche Welle director Erik Bettermann said in a statement on Wednesday.

YES IT DOES!

Not entirely. Creating an entire language for a work of popular fiction is one thing. Having people who speak it in everyday life is something else. Something...scary.

Next thing you know instead of speaking a normal, by normal I mean Earth lingo, language you ask for some french fries and they speak back in Klingon. Yeah...That would be very creepy...Hey as long as they don't dress up in the costumes, because then I would be scared...

I still Can't understand how a show that at first got cancelled at first make such a comback that a "real" languge system could come out of it. I'm now expecting new languages like:

And!

Now who can't froget those meanless lingos!

Hey, if they wanted to go through the trouble of making said language, more power to them.

Would you prefer an Al Bhed version of their website?

Yeah but people can actually understand piglatin, unlike Klingon Vulcan and other Star Trek Lingo.

Why can't they just speak like the Borg, you can actually understand them...Most of the time anyway.
