Yay! Finally, a reason to visit DESnet. I've added news of my latest project; a hex editor which I call CIEW. Visit http://desnet.fobby.net/ for more information.

Hey, that sounds nice. If I ever decide to check out ASM related stuff, I might give it a try.

It will... There are a ton of additional features that it will contain. Most of which I have not mentioned anywhere. The reason I am making the hex editor is because all currently available hex editors suck. And I need one that does not suck.

Hit me if I'm stupid but could it support GBA-style ARM code?

Absolutely. Both ARM and Thumb instruction sets for GBA, GP32, NDS, etc. etc.

Wait... Did you say NDS, as in Nintendo DS? if so, that would be cool! Is it because the NDS uses the ARM/Thumb instruction sets as well? |

Yes, Hex Workshop does suck. I have been using it since 1999, and it still sucks just as much as it did then. Unfortunately, I've not been able to work on this project for quite some time. And my being under heavy emotional stress does not help matters. So I must apologize to everyone for any additional delay which may be a result of the world sucking so damn much. |

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but will CIEW have a "refresh table file" feature? Having to restart the hex-editor every time I've updated the table file has been a nuisance in thingy. |
