Junior year I was close to falling asleep in AP Chem..I never did anything in the class because it was too damn hard so I found myself drifting away .

I've never fallen asleep in class, but I've seen someone that have. So the teacher threw the sponge at him.

That reaction from the teacher wasn't excactly expected, but then again, she (the teacher) was quite an odd one.

The only time I think I've ever fallen asleep in class was in sixth grade, in sixth hour,
I was sleeping pretty much the whole time. But I think Mr.Bishop was sleeping too.

Do what I did. Exit somewhere to someplace more entertaining. I don't think I ever used my study hall periods in high school, or at least I never attended them in the home room.

Maybe I just went to a weird school, but none of my teachers cared if students were sleeping. Their theory was if you want to fail, go right ahead.

I don't know how I've managed it, but I haven't fallen asleep yet. It's almost happened many many times, for some reason always in my 11am Logic class...don't ask me why.

Never had study hall at my school, hmmm..wonder why not. Oh well. If I wanted to skip a class, I would normally head into my photo class. The teacher didn't really care, as long as you went there to do some work dealing with photo.

Sometimes, I would just sleep in and go to school after 1st hour.

We didn't have "study hall", but for us honor students (...) we could leave class if nothing was going on (read: finished all our work OR there was a free period) and use our Gold Card to go to the library.

Of course, if it happened at last period then we just said "screw it" and left school like good honor students.

I have a list. Math class, english class, physics class, band class (several times, the flutes make me sleepy), this year in study, in band again, physics 2 class, english class (but not as much as a friend of mine)...

I've also fallen asleep while waiting for my turn to come up in a play rehearsal, nearly fell asleep at a school football game, while waiting for a guidance appointment, at lunch...

But I think the most often I've ever fallen asleep in any class was my history class last year. There were maybe three classes in which I didn't feel drowsy at all. Two of them were exam days.

I don't usually fall asleep, because I can't unless I'm in my own bed. But I day dream and cat nap, in all classes except math. Of course I don't do this all the time, its quite a rare occassion, except in science.

I tend to have problems sleeping, so I'll fall asleep in class because I didn't the night before. Teachers don't care much, and usually when I wake up I don't even realize I was asleep. It usually happens because I put my head down on my desk (being so tired I can't help it) while writing or listening to some boring lecture.
BTW: The number one way to fall asleep is to try to stay awake.

Ha...That is actually funny I was thinking about that and then you posted it...A little creepy though...Okay all of you people out there who say that you have never fallen a sleep in class are lying, but to make this a little more interesting lets talk about the funniest thing that we have seen happen to someone who was asleep in class...Like for instance, on Friday someone fell asleep in Geometry and woke up with a test on his desk and the teacher was saying five more minutes until pencils down...That was so funny. The person really freaked out...

Haha, we don't have study hall. It sounds like it sucks from my sister who had it for a week or something.

Whenever people would fall asleep in my math class last year, my teacher would put mostaches on them and drawings on them. Or either she'd spray them with the bottle thingy.

I don't remember her saying anything about that but she probably did by now XD. Last year in my class she was about to do it to this d00d but he woke up before she had a chance to. She'd talk about how she did it in other classes.

I have dosed off in class numerous times... only because I finished the 3 hours of homework in 1, and had the other 30 minutes to put my head on my desk. Heck... I cant even get to sleep like that... I just one way or another zone out.

I know I am going to fall asleep in class tomorrow. We have to take this "Strategies for Learning" class because we are getting financial aid. We are learning how to learn. Biggest bullshit ever.
