I guess this is a good place to say that there is, indeed, a Ms. Pacman (namco version) editor out there (and I'm not talking about that online crap I did). It's not publically released yet, but should be if I ever decided to work out that 1 last problem

Does it support those in-between level movies editing?

Anyway, we have all these editors listed... maybe Weasel should make a nice lil' sticky and have a constantly updated list of all the editors in development or already out.

I think that you guys are making too big a deal of this. If some n00b starts a thread about where to find an editor, close it and trash it, you don't need to get all annoyed. It barely affects you for more than a minute. The posts can get annoying sometimes too.

Yea I just wish we could throw them to zophar or something...I release all my editor information with zophar and my common boards.

Meh, that list sucked. None of my editors were on it either. I concur with the last few posts, in that if someone asks if such an editor exists, someone tells them if it does or not. Simple. No fuss. Easy.

Sounds fair enough to me. And that list I made was the ones I was familiar with, so sorry if I missed 3 people's.

And there's SMAS to maybe add on the list, because SMW is obviously fully editable (LM), SMB3 is supported by MI3, and SMB2 is partially supported by SMB2D. We just need a SMB1 and a SMB2J editor, which can probably be put together.

If anybody doesn't know the acronyms, I'll just clear things up.
SMAS = Super Mario All-Stars
SMW = Super Mario World
LM = Lunar Magic
SMB3 = Super Mario Bros. 3
SMB2 = Super Mario Bros. 2
SMB1 = Super Mario Bros. 1
SMB2J = Super Mario Bros. 2 Japanese, which is the Lost Levels, a harder version of SMB1.
MI3 = Mario Improvement 3
SMB2D = SMB2 Level Discombobulator

It isn't we get annoyed with the useless threads, but people need to learn how to search for things on their own. If they're asking for editors on the boards without doing research, then later on, they'll be asking for info on a game without searching, or help with a hack without workiing themselves. The basic idea of doing the research before asking is something that can be used in most situations. It's also learning to use what tools you can work with (in this case, a search engine).

On a side note, why did Dahrk Daiz change his name?

Anyway, agreed. Google the hell outta what you're looking for before you come asking everyone here!

Much agreed .

I have always found it odd why someimes people will post asking for a ROM or editor, when they could find it in like 5 minutes. Just a stupid waste of time.

You obviously didn't read the first post of this thread. This isn't a "everyone ask for editors here" thread. This is meant to tell people like you that you need to do a little research before asking a question that's been answered over and over and over nad over and over again. Try google, Zophar, DES, CG, or ROMHacking.com. And if you did so, you'd find there's a editor for MM1-5 and one coming to MM7.

Well didn't you just find what you were looking for? It's not the editor's fault you can't make good music in SMB. Porting songs from 1 game to another is next to impossible unless you're very fluent in how the NES's APU works.
