| Why is it that Parents will go out of their way to spend money on crap you don't want, yet will never lend you some cash for something you -want-? Case in point - My A/C broke last night and I'm using a fan and liking it very well. Using my A/C allways made me too cold. And If I wasn't too cold I was extremely hot.. Well she's wanting to rush out and buy me an expensive A/C - But yet she won't loan me about 50 bucks to have enough to buy a Monitor. It's things like this that annoy me the most. |

| Hmmmm....a/c or a new monitor...which whould be more important, health wise...gee, if you lived here, I would go for the a/c, no doubt about that. But you mentioned that you like the fan...think you'll like that fan in a few months? Well, unless your new a/c doesn't come with a heater...and it if it doesn't get too cold in your area, just try to come up with vald points to make as to why you don't need a new a/c unit. Or how about this, try to earn some money and get the monitor on your own, so then you don't have to listen to your parents bother you, as to why you were bothering them for a mointor. But what do I know, it's freaking 3:30am and I'm tired.  |

| You bring up some valid points. But let me reply to each of them. An A/C is not needed in my room - We have one in every room and they're allways on. So simply opening my door and turning on the fan is like an instant A/C. My health is not an issue in this case. And I do almost have enough for a new monitor but it's the shipping on a CRT that's going to bite me in the ass. And I really don't have a job right now (16 and no car - not good..)
