Being set in Kanto, you might have noticed I used some sprites from Fire Red and copied the full color palette for them.

Fire Red sprites are tilted forward a bit more, compared to Ruby. As such, they seem a bit smaller, height-wise. I kinda masked this by raising the eyes one line but really...

I frankly don't know what to do.

Note: I'm NOT talking about the Battle sprites here.

Fire Red's style should go...after all, think about it. Heonn and Kanto are two different regions. Just like in different world regions, say for example...Africa and China, the people are boviously going to look different. As such, people of two different world regions should look different, and if this is in Kanto, then you should use Kantonesians (I made that up ). Of course you can amke an exception for say, the shopkeeper from Hoenn. But for the most part, make the natives into natives

Why dont you use a pokemon fire red usa rom to make the hack.

OR make it all in fr/lg style.

Or make it a emerald style whene pokemon emerald is out.

that would defeat the whole purpose of his hack: a Kanto remake. Boy, aren't you smart

You should post some samples from Ruby and some Fire red. Not everyone have been able to play Fire red.

Of course could I check up screenshots on the net, but i'm lazy.

Actually, the PLAYER is from Hoenn. That's a Kantonese giving you the potion.
