| For the record, I can buy pear juice in some stores around here. It's not bad actually... it's a thick juice, obviously, but it's tasty and sweet. | |||

| I hate red apples. They blow. The only thing I like about them is the smell, and I don't mean a cut apple. Put a few crates full of red apples and you get the nice applely smell. I do like sour apples, though, and some wierd yellow red green mahoobajob I can't remember the name of. Pears are better tasting, and I like their grainier, almost stony texture. Apples are overhyped. I garuntee ALL of you that if apples were portrayed as a dumpy, poor tasting little fruit none of you would care about them. Culture can play a large role in matters of taste. As for awesome fruits? Try Prickly Pears. Very nice flavor. Yellow Watermellon is also a winner; it's exceptionally sweet. I like white and red grapes (raisins don't count as a fruit), and I eat bananas because they help keep me on my feet when I play ddr. I LOVE berries, especially blackberries, and I least like strawyberries (too damn bland... though strawberry flavored anything usually rules). Raspberries can be pretty cool sometimes, and Cranberries... I've got mixed feelings. I hate Cantelope and love honeydew. Cantelope has this slightly salty overtone that makes me not like it. Honeydew just seems to be sweeter. I like tangerines but I'm not overly fond of organges. I like Giant Grapefruit. They are almsot flavorless, but theres something about them that makes me really like them. I like plums and apricots and peaches. And now I can't think of anything else... |

Depends on the type of apple though. I don't like most red apples but I love Red Delicious apples.  (And Golden Delicious too.)Yellow watermelon... I've had it once and it's OK but I prefer red. Plus yellow isn't ultra-common around here. |

*walks in eating a can of pears* What?  Anyway, I normally eat canned pears more than apples, seeing as with apples I habve the core left over, and with the pears, I only have the can, which can sit on my desk for a while. That and pears are juicer too. Although I do have two apple trees outside my house. |

| Not all green apples are sour. And there lies the one problem with apples - there's too many. I like 2 or 3 types, and if I go to the grocery store... bam. At least 8-10 (sometimes more) types of apples waiting to be picked up. |

| I acutually ate a pear at school the other day. My friend was like "here, have a pear" so I took it and put it in my tray. I forgot what it tasted like, I like all kinds of fruits but I should get back into the pears . |

You forget?  Pears are usually... well... they have a hint of sweetness to them, but like all fruits it depends. Sometimes you'll get a really sweet one... delicious.  |

| Everytime we buy pears in our household, everyone neglects them and let them rot the next three days or so. They are'nt at all that great when it comes to staying fresh. Go to an Asian market and you'll see some wierd fruits there! I once saw this pear that spiraled at the top. It looked fly-bitten and infected with the biggest sort of exotic downsyndrome I've ever seen! I was'nt even sure if it was alive or not! But that's the last time I'll ever eat a pear without choking... |

| I like pears when they're just slightly under-ripe. That way they're crisp, kinda like an apple, and when you bite into them you get the flavor. Too under-ripe and they're crunchy and bland, though. | |||
