| Despite the thread bumping, and the expected reply, it wouldn't hurt to answer that question You can find a page with all of Anikiti's hacks here. Just click the 'Download' link under the game you want to get, and if there isn't a download link there, chances are a demo / full version of the game hasn't been released yet. To open the .lzh files, use PicoZip, if you don't already have a program installed for that file type. | Ok, as far as stealing graphics, i have two words, oh well. You are in fact stealing when useing roms for hacking, so to get upset and say don't steal my graphics is just, and i hate being rude, but it's dumb. Same thing gose for the sunny side hack, on the site that it is at the person who made the hack says not to use their graphics, and that is dumb. I mean what about using graphics from non hacked games, it's the sam darn thing to use graphics from other roms is no different. Ok, i have said my peace, for now anyways. |

| Well, the difference is that Sunny Side World's GFX were HAND DRAWN. If the GFX were RIPPED from another existing game (such as SMAS) it's acceptable to take them, but not any hand drawn bits that they may have. But it's NOT okay to steal someone else's own graphics, unless they give you permission. EDIT: Where did you get SSW, anyway? | Well saying it's wrong to steal another hacker's graphics is just as bad as ripping graphics from another game: just because another rom hacker makes them doesn't mean it's put up to a higher law than what the commercial ROM originally had. A ROM hack's graphics are just as vulernable and are "fair game" as a commercial ROM. Now ethically, it's always a nice and a courteous thing to give proper credit, but morally, stealing graphics from another hack is just as wrong as stealing them from a commercial ROM ;D (edited by DahrkDaiz on 01-31-05 01:55 AM) |
