Yup, Nintendo announced today that they're slashing the price of the SP to $79.99 American - I'm guessing $99.99 Canadian.  (And yes, this does make a SP quite attractive for me...  )Only little catch? The price drop takes effect tomorrow (Sept. 2), not today. So don't go to EB or Target or Gamestop and complain about the price. |

| I've been thinking a lot about buying a GameCube or GBA, as the only console I own is a good ol' N64. I was going to save up and buy a GBA SP, but then I decided to save instead for a DS... As for PSP, I don't care how good the technical specs looks. I'm a Nintendo child through and through, and I've always felt I've loved the games a lot more. The system sellers for Nintendo are a far too appealing to buy anything else. |

| I don't know if the reliability thing will come into question, but IF it came down to that Nintendo does have a better track record. I doubt that'll be the deciding factor unless Sony really screws up with that first shipment. |
