| libgmail is a Python-based project to have an API to Gmail. It's Unix-based (Linux, *BSD, Mac OS X)... It's an interesting project. I just discovered it, so I'll try it out after I post this message (heh). This is a link to it: http://libgmail.sourceforge.net/ There's also a GmailFS project based on libgmail: http://richard.jones.name/google-hacks/gmail-filesystem/gmail-filesystem.html Edit: Ok, I tried it. A friend of mine wrote a menu item for Openbox3 which checks your GMail inbox and displays it right in your menu.. neat shit. (Using libgmail obviously.  )Allthough I seriously hate python. |
