Ok, I was wondering how I would replace the music, and how could I replace it in only one level instead of more than one? Also, if I wanted to replace Koopa Troopa, how do I my sprite change only work on that level instead of the whole hack?

Note: I feel like an idiot some times

You can't replace the music...yet...when the Solar Soundtrack program comes out, you'll be able to. And you certainly can't replace a track for just one level (ie, in one level, you play track 2, the normal music, and in another level you wish to play track 2 and get the SMB3 Hilly Music) unless you know some hardcore ASM. Bur once SS comes out, you can just insert a new track. For the Koopa Troopa issue, use ExGFX.

Well if you've played Robombs Quest it uses music from Super Mario Bros 3.

Yes, that is because the author applied a patch that changes the music via Bouche's method. You can get this patch by creating a patch with Demo World (not DW:TLC) as the original ROM and Demo World 3 as the modified ROM. I can't recall Bouche's method, before you ask; though I know he posted it at some point on the old board, that event was too recent to have been saved in the archives. And he hasn't contributed in this forum for a long while so it's best to wait for Solar Soundtrack.

Ever thought about reading the FAQ before asking?

Don't take this the wrong way, but reading the FAQ is a waste of time. I got a lot of things to do, and reading is something I don't :-P I just thought I'd ask for a little help, but I got it situated for now thanks.

Waste of time? Look at the time between the post and the reply. 11 minutes. You could have looked in the FAQ, which would take 'round one minute. If you looked there, you would have saved 10 minutes! Waste of time? Sorry, but I don't get it.
