Actualy, I plan on getting that Star Ocean game that just came out for the Ps2, but due to all these hurricanes and I had to spend $800+ on rent, my funds are a bit low. I wanted to get the game yesterday, but I knew that I couldn't.

This hurricane must be hitting a lot of pockets on people, especially those who lost hours from work because they had to close down for a few days.

Well if you don't have any power during it I can't see anything wrong with drinking.

Now if Florida gets hit with a FOURTH then Anya will start hating it. I promise.

"One danger is that a slowing storm brings many questions into play, as it would be approaching the Florida coast. Any slight, unexpected turn to the east could bring a very early landfall anywhere from Naples northward to Tampa. A deviation to the west could mean a landfall further up the coast in the Panhandle."

This is just great. So if they put up the warnings too early, people will get bored and try to go out, like Frances, but if they put it up too late, well, I don't want to think about that.

I need to call my dad to make sure hr puts up those shutters again. Chris' dad didn't take them down after Frances.

Colleen, do not jinx us with a 4th 'cane.

Yeah Colleen don't go jinxing Florida.

Anyone ever notice that Florida and California are semi-bad states to live in? Seeing as Florida gets hurricanes and California has earthquakes. Some weird coastal states I say.

Actually, Cali gets a shit more than just earthquakes. I'll take my hurricanes any day as long as I keep away from Cali. Mudslides, fires, quakes, and so on.

Got my gas on the way home from work....don't want to wait until the last minute, like half the people here...and then they wonder why there's long lines that reach far into the street.

Haha. Sorry I just had to laugh at all the people I've ever heard say "I wish I lived in L.A." or something close. I am safe I live in Kansas there are no hurricanes, bombings(which would be a waste of a bomb if they used it on my town), or any thing else exciting. Wahahaha. Okay I'm done.

Hehe yeah Wisconsin is a safe place to live too. Expecially, in a small town that no one seems to have heard of before.

Well, its starting to look more and more that South Florida might be in the clear, as well as the Florida Keys. But, as I keep telling everyone here, I don't think we're in the clear until the storm is good and gone.

I know about the risks with earthquakes in California. It lies right above a tectonic plate...

As long as it keeps on the current path... you guys'll be fine based on what I saw tonight on the news. Might still do a bit of damage to the States with heavy rains and that if it turns into a Cat 1 or Tropical Storm by that time.

You do know that Ivan is still a Cat 5 storm with 165MPH winds, right? But chances are getting better for myself and Kirbynite.
