*waves* Um... Yeah. Hi  ;;I haven't been around for.. a nice long while.. Long story.. Involves viruses, cousins, school and work. But.. uh.. yeah... Frances.. It's a bit annoying waiting for this hurricane to go by.. I hear lots of winds going and such.. No strong rains... It's like.. I know there's a huricane down the street, but it's just power walking instead of taking a car through.... Nakase's gone to South Carolina, so I don't have to do much worrying for her.. But Sion just happens to be still stuck here with me, so I don't get to go completely crazy  .. Ladeda.. |

| So this is a Hurricane? I expected much worse, all we're getting is strong winds and some rain. Other than that everythings just fine. Itll probably get worse later on though, but as long as the power doesnt go out ill be just fine Im gonna go outside and see if the wind will knock me down......... ...hours later Still waiting for this storm to hit....all Im seeing is rain and wind..in other words a typical fall day in Chicago. ...more hours later I guess its over. That was the cheepest Hurricane ever. I didnt even see one tree break in half. *sigh* SION LAUGHS AT YOU HURRICANE! Slayer: Is that a joke or is that complete ignorance  The only reason we can predict hurricanes today is because of technology like radar, satelites and aeroplanes.If the weather acted differently beforehand, do you think so many people would've died in Hurricane Andrew, or any of the other dealy hurricanes? Sion: Anya has alreayd pointed out that hurricanes aren't something to joke about, and I'm inclined to agree  |

| I have to admit, it was a bit anticlimatic. Me and Sieg and his bro were up very late doing some crazy gaming. Wind was pretty strong.. The trees looked like they were doing the cabage patch out there.. But it was very tame compared to Charley. But I'm sure as heck not complaining.  ; I'd prefer there to be less damage. I hope the places that did get hit by the strong part of the hurricane recover quickly. *nod* |

| That makes perfect sense for two reasons, Neko: 1) Are YOU going to fix power lines right after a hurricane hits? No. You're going to wait a little bit (not long, maybe a day at most) to make sure everything's stable. 2) They're pretty much telling everyone not to go outside today and to just wait until things calm down. |
