| I live in a country that has tha gall to call itself the United States of America. I have a problem with this. We're not the only country in America. There are 33 others. We're also not the only country that's composed of multiple smaller political entities, or states, put together. As a matter of fact, one country even is also united states of America! We need to fix this! Submit your suggestions for better names for the country between Canada and Mexico today! |

| Actually, Vinland would be the name of Canada, not the US. Leif Eriksson never went to the US. The southernmost Viking settlement found is in Newfoundland (though it's argued they must have been further south, since grapes do not grow in Newfoundland). |
