Um...thanks. I think.  Seriously, all the blanket statements were kinda getting to me. One of my biggest pet peeves is being blamed for something I didn't do...this is kinda like that on a larger scale. Just got a little irritated, that's all. I'll get over it. <.< As for your question Waddler-D, I agree, pretty much anyone with an ounce of common sense could punch holes in that whole "seperate us from THEM" type of thinking. And yet I still don't know why it persists so strongly. Well, I mean, I have some idea, but...it's hard for me to put it into words without going off on a tangent. But some people in this state do, for some reason, see themselves as the last bastion of goodness and sanity in the world, and must "defend" their beliefs from, essentially, those who don't exactly agree with them. Even if it does make them (and therefore the rest of us) look like loud spittle-emitting hypocritical idiots. -.-;; |
