Um, the article doesn't mention ANYTHING about Christians at all Dark Lord.  Let's not jump to conclusions.Even if they are Christians, they're wrong in what they're doing. If they didn't want to be hypocritical, they would be after the banning of EVERYBODY in the country. Kitten Yiffer, the article didn't mention anything about religion at all. (I went over it a few times just to make sure. If I'm wrong, correct me.) Let's not assume that all atheists and agnostics are pro-gay and all religious people are homosexual haters. |

Even if those people weren't rallying for religious reasons, as it sure seems they are, you can see where Dark Lord Steak is coming from. Many times in the past homosexual people have been ostracized and even killed outright by christians, including a rather famous one by the name of Adolf Hitler. This behavior sickens me to the core, even more so that the people holding those signs and protesting are no doubt raising children with their beliefs, securing us another fine generation religious bigots. |

And if they were TRUE Christians, they wouldn't be doing this in the first place. Understand? |

| We talk about not jumping to conclusions...this is the county that had the friggin' Scopes Trial...the place where a guy was put on trial for teaching human origins that do not agree with what's in scripture. And now homosexuality is illegal in any form...much like the Christian Right has wanted and tried for so long...doesn't look like a jump to me at all. As for most conservative Christians thinking it being too far...I dunno about that. I happen to know a number of 'em, and I know they'd call that a victory for morality, or some such bullshit. |
