| I was like going to a gas station, right, and they had this AWESOME ADVERTISEMENT for a NEW KIND OF MOUNTAIN DEW! MOUNTAIN DEW is the only thing I drink, so NATURALLY I had to TRY the AWESOME NEW FLAVOR. It was called PITCH BLACK. And I DRANK IT! And it sucked. Bleh. It tastes like grape soda, but intangibly more lethal. I'm guessing they decided to make it black rather than purple because they couldn't think of any TOTALLY AWESOME names with purple in them. Anyway. I guess there's also a "baja blast" flavor exclusively at taco bell. Which is fine with me, because that one is even worse, although if you mix it with regular mountain dew it turns movie-style radioactive green. |

| I do use mountain dew rather than coffee when I am in need of caffeine. As far as that goes, original is ranked slightly above livewire, which is significantly above code red, though I still drink code red for variety (all the variety you can get in a can of mountain dew). Pitch Black isn't actually very bad, but on the other hand, it kind of sucks. Baja Blast is pure shit. I don't know if it's still at taco bell, or if it's even at all taco bells (I've only seen it in albuquerque), but it can stay there, because I'm not touching it. | |||

| My brother bought it three out of the last four days. First and second days were 2L and then a box of cans(12 cans, I think). He thinks it's great. I think it's good, but not a big deal. Has anyone else noticed that Mountain Dew has about 10% more sugar than most other soft drinks, and Pitch Black appears to have even more? (46g/can vs 40g/can Dr. Pepper) |

| Unless they start releasing Red Bull in fast food stores so that they dispense from fountains, then Ill just stick with the cans. Until then, my main sources of caffeine are Bawls and Red Bull. Everything else has no effect on me anymore. Take it from me, a person who went through 24 cans of Red Bull in less than 5 days. |

| That's cool, the mixing of the colors. I don't have enough money to buy to then mix though. I will try it one day. I don't like grape soda so you wont' see my trying Pitch Black. I don't drink Moutain Dew much either though..I will for sure try Baja Blast one of these days since I haven't yet. Livewire is okay, it just reminds me of orange Kool Aid. It had a decent taste at least. Code Red..kinda different from others since I don't really drink red looking soda. |
