| I translated all of the information of NOJ's website for Pokemon Emerald and Kawa said I should post it, so here it is: "Pokemon Emerald" is the new version of "Ruby & Sapphire"! A new episode and method of play is added to the base story of "Ruby & Sapphire." The pokemon with which the package and title screen is decorated is "Sky Pokemon Rekkuuza." What does this Rekkuuza that shines green do in "Emerald"? The stage is the Houen District and "Ruby & Sapphire", and you can select either a boy or a girl to be the hero. You will recieve a pokemon from Dr. Odamaki in Mishiro Town, and will leave on a trip of adventure. The pokemon which you meet first this time are these three animals! You can start your trip of adventure with one animal out of Achamo, Kimori, or Mizugorou as your partner. In the adventure of the Houen district of "Ruby and Sapphire", there are two groups which are battling for power. They are the Magma team and the Aqua team, whose purpose is "to extend the place in which pokemon can live." In "Ruby," the magma team was going to revive the ancient pokemon Guradon, and increase the land. While on the other hand the Aqua team tried to revive Kaioga in "Sapphire," and was going to increase the sea. With "Ruby/Sapphire" the story was to prevent one of their ambitions. However, with "Emerald", the wishes of both the Magma and the Aqua team will be prevented. Then in the tale of "Emerald", the episode which was not told is also expanded, based on the story of "Ruby/Sapphire". Guradon which appeared in 'Ruby', and Kaioga which appeared in 'sapphire' confront each other at sea. Only Guradon woke up in 'Ruby', only Kaioga woke up in 'Sapphire.' What happens with two Pokemon of mighy power wake up togeather and clash, the Houen district really becomes-- Is anything of Rekkuuza related to this situation? ----------------------------------------------------- With 'Emerald', two trainers that serve as battle partners may challenge you simultaneously. In 'Ruby/Sapphire' and 'Fire Red/Leaf Green', two trainers that challenge you to a double battle were always located right next to each other, waited for you, and were already togeather. However, with 'Emerald', two trainers which arein seprate locations may run up at the same time and rush into battle! The double battle aganist two trainers starts! The trainer could be lurking behind something also. When they think that you're not paying attention, they will challenge you to a hard fight. Be careful! ------------------------------------ When a Pokemon jumps out of the monster ball with 'Emerald', and when wild pokemon are encountered, the pokemon move. The number of motions of the pokemon are various, they can move their body as if they're glad, showing anger, fluttering with happyness. What motion does your favorite Pokemon show? Find out! ------------------------------------- The 'Battle Frontier' is the new place where various sides of your ability to battle are tested. Only the trainer whose strength is able to be accepted can set foot there -- so to speak -- the front line of the pokemon battle. In water, grass, and even surrounded by flowers, there is great divirsity, there are seven institutions, and various battles in which the talent of trainers, such as tactics and fate is tested in each institution is prepared. Two institutions will be introduced out of the seven of the 'Battle Frontier' this time! One of the seven institutions which rise high in the Battle Frontier, the 'Battle Dome.' The battle tournaments are held in this building that looks like an egg. A 'battle tournament' is the last full victory game, when in the tournament 16 trainers participates and loose, of course. You can take three pokemon. Therefore, in choosing pokemon, you need to choose all types. Before the battle starts, check which pokemon your opponent is taking. Concider their relations well, and out of three animals, choose two animals and they'll be pitched aganist each other. It is the tournament game in which tactics are tested. Another is this 'battle tube'. The hub looks like Katachi of Neku. Here, the 'fate' of a trainer is tested. The rules are easy. You choose one of the three entrances to continue to the next room, and you proceed to the final room in the very back. Ahead on the road which you choose there could suddentally be a battle, if the Pokemon's state becomes abnormal, you can use the cartridge to recover physical strength. Your fate decides what will happen... Can you still make it to the goal? |
